Kyle Krustangel
MANAGER + AGM
A former West Coast League player and coach before joining the Pippins, Kyle Krustangel was tapped as the second head coach of the Pippins on Oct. 2, 2019 and after stepping aside for 2025, Kyle is returning for 2026.
Krustangel coached the WCL’s Wenatchee AppleSox from 2017-2019. He was head coach at Yakima Valley College for seven years. In his first season in 2016, the Yaks won the college’s 21st NWAC baseball championship. He also was named NWAC East coach of the year, NWAC coach of the year and ABCA Regional coach of the year. Krustangel played in the WCL in 2007 for the Spokane RiverHawks, played and was an assistant coach at Whitworth University, from which he graduated. He also was head varsity baseball coach at Bridgeport High School from 2011-2014, was head coach of the Spokane Bandits AAA American Legion team from 2012-2015, and was head coach of the Yakima Pepsi Beetles in 2016.

Gunner "panch" Ueda-Pancheri
ASSOCIATE HEAD COACH
Gunnar Ueda-Pancheri is also the Associate Head Coach at YVC.
Coach Panch was the Head Baseball Coach for Grays Harbor College for two seasons prior to accepting the Yakima Valley post. Panch led Grays Harbor College to the two winningest seasons in program history and its first playoff berth since 1974. His offense set program records in home runs, extra base hits, runs scored and stolen bases. His pitchers also set program records for strikeouts, wins, saves, and ERA. Panch led 25 student-athletes to the four-year level during his tenure, including two NCAA division one programs.
Panch served as Associate Head Coach, Recruiting Coordinator and Infield Coach for Southwestern Oregon Community College from 2017-2020 before becoming the Head Baseball Coach at Grays Harbor College.
Panch is an alum of the YVC baseball program, having played for head coach Marcus McKimmy's Yaks in the 2014-2015 season. He continued his career by playing two seasons at Southwest Oregon before starting his coaching career.
